Biography

Karem Tello Araya is the head of the Department of Metallurgy and Material Science at the Universidad Técnica Federico Santa María, Chile. She received a B.S. degree in Metallurgical Engineering from the Universidad Técnica Federico Santa María (2005). She received the M.Sci. and Ph.D. in Material Science from the Colorado School of Mines (2010, 2012).
