About Me

Karem Tello is an assistant professor in the Department of Mining, Metallurgy and Materials Engineering at Universidad Técnica Federico Santa María (UTFSM), Chile. She was the head of the same Department in the period 2020-2024. She received a B.S. degree in Metallurgical Engineering from the Universidad Técnica Federico Santa María (2006) and the M.Sc. and Ph.D. in Material Science from the Colorado School of Mines (2009, 2012).
